Weight Management (Cats, Dogs and Rabbits)

During my time in practice, I have hosted and managed many weight loss clinics and drop-ins for pets of all shapes and sizes. During my clinics I will ensure we cover the essentials in order to manage your pets weight and health as well as ensuring you pick up the necessary tips and knowledge to proactively manage your pets weight yourself. 

During the clinic I will -

Calculate the ideal weight for your pet, the calories they require, their daily rations and weight targets based on their body condition score, their current weight and their activity level.

Ensure your pet is on a well-balanced, nutritious diet with a managed calorie intake applicable to their individual needs.

Promote smooth, controlled weight loss, whilst maintaining a lean body mass.

Monitor your pets weight and body condition and repeat the score at each monthly appointment charting their progress.

Educate and motivate you to continue the weight loss programme for your pet by offering tips and tricks for weight loss and weight management.

Weight Management Plans
