Medication Administration (Cats, Dogs And Rabbits)

Obtaining medication for your pet is one thing, administering it successfully is quite another. Whether you require assistance in medicating your pet due to physical impairment, your pet resisting taking the medication, or you have a holiday or time away on business planned, YHVN can assist you and transform what many find to be a fraught and worrisome experience into a simple stress free service.

I am licenced to administer parasite treatments, tablets, drops, or creams. I can also administer injections such as insulin (eg ProZinc or Caninsulin), immunotherapy (eg Artuvetrin or Cytopoint) or osteoarthritis medication (eg Librela or Solensia).

I am also able to give medication administration and injection training for clients who wish to take onboard this skill.

Please note. All medication must be supplied and clearly labelled by your veterinary surgeon or obtained online via a valid veterinary prescription. A copy of your pet’s clinical history may be required to support the process. You may also contact your veterinary surgeon to ensure they are content with the treatment being administered as an outpatient service delivered by myself if you so wish.
